I bring people, organisations and countries together to achieve things for the greater good. In particular, I enjoy promoting inward investment in the United Kingdom.

I’m Lord Mayor and Alderman of the City of London, Chair/Trustee of a number of charities and a great supporter of SMEs, recognising the critical role they play in the City’s fabric. I believe strongly in the democratisation of finance, to increase its accessibility and diversity. In 2022 I was commissioned as a Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London.

Financial Services Chair

I am the Founder and Executive Chairman of Naisbitt King Asset Management Ltd, a leading fixed-income house and family offices. I sit on the board of five financial services companies – two of which I own, three of which are regulated by the FCA and four of which I chair. This allows me to influence positive change in diversity and opportunity. I am an active member of Pi Capital, one of London’s leading networking and angel investing clubs.

Growing and bringing businesses together

In my sector I am recognised for my track record of bringing people of all skills together to achieve growth and wider business goals. I take leading roles in global networking organisations such as The Young Presidents’ Organisation, and the Chief Executives Organisation.  I am also Chairman of the London Region of the Institute of Directors.

Building strong bonds with the international community

Increasing inward investment from overseas is both an area of expertise and a passion. I have high-level relations across China, the Middle East, Europe, India and Central Asia, where I lived for three years. I am a regular attender at the Saudi Arabian Future Investment Initiative and in March 2021 I was appointed the UK Honorary Secretary of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sovereign Wealth Funds.

Charity and Public Service

I am Alderman of the City of London, representing the historic ward of Queenhithe. In February 2022 I was commissioned as Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London. I am proud to be Chair of two charities; the British Liver Trust and environmental charity Common Earth.
